Monitoring trends and geographic spread

Over 1,000 different substances have been reported to the UNODC Early Warning Advisory on NPS by governments, laboratories, law enforcement and partner organisations in more than 125 countries and territories from all regions of the world.

The UNODC Early Warning Advisory enables trend monitoring by displaying data on the spread of individual substances or substance groups in countries and regions over different time periods. This can be particularly useful on a regional basis, as a situation affecting nearby countries can help prepare for potential upcoming threats.
